LADIES CLUB: The Ladies Club will hold their monthly meeting in Ballylooby community Hall on Wednesday, April 6, at 7.30pm The Ladies club has invited Mary Skelly of Kilcoran Garden Centre to give her annual talk on gardening on this Wednesdaym April 6, at 8.30pm in Ballylooby Community Hall. THANKS: Daffodil Day/Irish Cancer Society/South Tipperary Hospice Bridget and Deborah Ryan together with the members of Duhill community would like to say “Thanks a Bunch” to the generous sponsors and everyone who supported their fundraising on March 18 and helped to raise €2.300 in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. South Tipperary Hospice will receive half of this money. Results of their raffle are displayed in Marie Burkes Shop Ballylooby and also on notice boards in both Ballylooby and Duhill churches. BRIAN BORU’S: Under 16 training will take place on Wednesday night at 8pm in Clogheen. Under 12 training will continue on Thursday evening at 6.30pm in Ballylooby. Please make sure that all players are mentors pay their registration fee for insurance purposes

Two couples on nine games shared second prize Fran and Mary Burke, Anne Noonan and Philomena Slattery. Lucky tables John English and patsy Coffey. Tom O’Brien and Paddy Lonergan. Next 45 drive will be on Sunday, April 10, at 8.30pm sharp. Profits go towards the up-keep of the hall.

WEDDING: Congratulations to Brendan English, son of Michael and Catherine English, Garryclogher, and Patricia Coffey, Hospital, Co Limerick, who were married recently. We wish the young couple good health and happiness in the years ahead.
SYMPATHY: Sympathy is extended to the Coffey and Fitzgerald and Murphy families on the death of Mrs Helen O’Grady (nee Flynn). Interment was made in Newcastle. Sympathy is also extended to the family of John O’Donnell, Clonmore, who died recently.
