Information Service resumes

The weekly Citizens Information Service in Carrick-on-Suir’s Nano Nagle Community Resource Centre, Greenside has resumed after the holiday break.

The service is available at the service every Tuesday from 11am to 1pm.

You can obtain information from the Citizen’s Information Service on how to make a complaint if you are not satisfied with a health or social care service.

There is a new website called www.healthcomplaints.ie developed by a group of public and voluntary organisations including the Citizens Information Board, which provides information on how to make such complaints.

As well as explaining the options for making a complaint about any specific service, the site also includes sample complaint letters, case studies and guides on how to complain. There is also a checklist to help you ensure that you give all the relevant information.

A booklet can be downloaded or a leaflet or poster explaining what the site does and how to use it.
