U21 football Killenaule 2-7 Ballyporeen 0-13
Senior hurling Killenaule 3-17 St.Lactains 1-16
A bad weekend for our footballers with our U21’s bowing out of the championship despite a good performance against Ballypooreen. We were caught on the line with a last minute equaliser, but in fairness we had enough chances in the first half to have this match wrapped up. Our senior hurlers put up their best display so far with victory over St Lactains in a very entertaining match. With the first round of the Championship just three weeks away the training will be stepped up and we are back in the field on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8pm.
Festy(P Kerwick) has been chosen as our new hurling captain for the coming year and Gerry Kennedy is our football captain and their first job is to get all our players to pay their membership as the closing date March 31.
