OOLA YOUTH CLUB
Oola Senior youth club will attend the Disco in Pallasgreen on Friday, March 16, at 8.30pm. Cost €5. No club on Saturday night. Next week on March 24 leaders and members meeting at 7.30pm.
Congratulations to Veronica Martin Oola on winning 1st prize of €15,000 in the Limerick Development draw on Friday night last and to Paddy Ryan who won €250.
We also congratulate Doon CBS who continue on their winning ways with victory over Colaiste na Feirste of Belfast in the All Ireland football semi-final played in Ratoath Co. Meath on Saturday last on a score of 3-10 to 1-3.
Congratulations also to Michael Ryan, Cullen Rd. Oola on his great achievement of securing his place on the eventing team for the London Olympics games to be held in July. It is a great honour to represent your country and the possibility of a medal coming back to Oola would be a dream come true. We wish Michael well and it will give us an added interest when the games commence in July.
Training for U12 and U14 girls will take place in Doon on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 7pm.
Training for U16,U18 and Intermediate will take place in Oola on Wed.evenings from 7pm to 8pm.
