BURNCOURT PREMIERE - ‘STYLE IN THE VALLEY’
A great day coming up for ladies on Sunday, June 17, with the holding of Burncourt’s very first “Style in the Valley”, a day of fashion and well being. There will be professional advice from beauticians, hairstylists and holistic therapists. Image Consultant Caroline Ryan will be in attendance with lots of advice and tips, see stylebycaroline.ie. With jewellery, hats and fashion all on display and for sale, it promises to be a great day out for all the ladies.

Burncourt Community Council will hold a festival meeting on Friday, June 8, at 8.30pm in the Community Hall. The Community Council would really appreciate if you are interested in volunteering to help in the planning and holding of the festival over the weekend of July 20 to come along to this meeting.

The children of Burncourt National School will receive their First Holy Communion this Sunday, May 27. Please note that Mass will be at 10.30am for this Sunday only.

The Camogie Club’s Church Gate Collection will take place the weekend of June 9 and 10. All support would be greatly appreciated.

U 12’s played a very strong Cahir team last Monday night and have their final round game on Thursday night when they play Fethard.
U 14’s are into a semi final on Tuesday night in Clogheen at 7pm where they play Clonmel Commercials. Best of luck girls. U8’s and U10’s played a very enjoyable challenge game against Mitchelstown last Friday night. Well done girls.
