Deepest sympathy is extended to the Tuohy family, Main St, Clogheen, on the death of Mary. She is survived by her sisters Catherine, Anne and Martina, brothers John, Donal and Brendan and all her extended family. Removal to St Mary’s Church will be Thursday, October 11, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. On Friday following requiem mass at 11am interment in Shanrahan Cemetery

Sr Aine, her community Srs Elsie and Clare, and her family would like to thank the Community Council and all the voluntary helpers for the wonderful night on the occasion of her retirement. “I appreciate all the hard work that was given so freely to make it a night to remember. Thanks to all who attended the night and to the Jordinairs for their feast of music and song.”

NATIONAL TRAILS DAY

Last Sunday, National Trails Day, 26 people set off on the Clogheen Loop. We would like to thank everyone who turned up on the day.

DOWN SYNDROME COFFEE MORNING

Paddy O’Callaghan and Maura Buckley would like to thank everyone who donated to the coffee morning in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland. €3430 was raised.

SOUTH TIPP CYCLE CLUB

The committee for the newly formed South Tipp C.C. would like to invite anyone interested in joining the club to attend a meeting on Monday, October 29, 8pm in Clogheen Community Centre. Annual membership: adults €50, juniors €20.
