We wish a happy retirement to Alice Burke who has retired as sacristan from St. Mary’s Church, Touraneena, after nearly 50 years of service. Alice would like to thank Fr. Connie Kelleher P.P. and all the parishioners for all their kindness and help throughout the years.

Sliabh gCua/ St.Mary’s GAA club will hold their annual church gate collection on the weekend of October 13 and 14. All support would be appreciated.


The club are also holding a scrap Saturday event on Saturday, October 13. People can donate any unwanted metal to the club by dropping it off at John Gleeson’s, Knockboy, between 10am and 2pm.
