RETIREMENT OF SR AINE

In recognition of the many years service Sr Aine has given to St. Teresa’s Hospital, Clogheen, the communities of Skeheenarinky and Burncourt will celebrate her retirement with a Mass in Burncourt Community Hall on Friday, October 12 at 8.15pm. Refreshments will be served. All welcome celebration.

BEWLEY’S COFFEE MORNING

A Bewley’s Coffee Morning will be hosted locally by Jimmy and Breeda Fitzgerald at their home on Friday, October 19. This is an opportunity to continue your great support for your local hospice.

BURNCOURT COMMUNITY HALL EVENTS

Tuesday, October 30 - The annual Children’s Halloween Party by Burncourt Community Council in association with the Parents’ Association. Sunday, November 4th – “The Big Breakfast.” Sunday, November 18 - Annual Christmas Craft Fair. Sunday, December 2 - Community Christmas Party.

PUBLIC MEETING

Deputy Mattie McGrath will hold a public meeting in relation to the government’s proposed changes to sick pay arrangements on Friday, October 12, at 8pm in Cahir House Hotel. Guest speakers include Mark Fielding, Chief Executive ISME (Irish Small Medium Enterprises Association) and Senator Mary Ann O’Brien, entrepreneur and Chairperson Lily O’Brien’s Chocolates.
