It’’s panto time again

Cashel Pantomime Society are staging “Sleeping Beauty” in February 2013. To all those interested in treading the boards, auditions will be held for all parts in Halla na Féile on Monday, October 29, commencing at 6.30pm. The show will be produced by John Hally, and musical director will be Fran Curry.

Social Tea Dancing in Halla na Feile is proving to be a great success. Declan Aungier will play for our Tea Dance this Friday, October 12, with dancing from 9pm to midnight. Teas and sandwiches will be served and admission is €8. Looking forward to seeing you and we promise you a very enjoyable evening.Social Dancing Classes continue on Tuesday evenings from 8.30pm to 10.45pm. An extra half-hour is added on for those who like ‘Ballroom’. Admission €5.

Last week’s draw took place in Brosnan’s Bar, the numbers drawn were 1,15,19 and 29. There was no winner of the Jackpot of €5,900. The second chance draw took place and the numbers drawn were 6,14,20 and 21, and there was no winner of the €500 jackpot. The following won lucky dips on the night: €50 Alan Horncastle, €50 Ann/Des Taylor, €20 Walsh Butchers, €20 Bridget O’Keeffe, €20 Sean Morning, €20 Maureen Horan, €20 Brendan Murphy.
