WEDDING BELLS

Wedding bells rang out on Friday last, December 14, for John Ryan (L), Moher East, and Sharon Chester, Cashel.

The groomsman was Michael Ryan, brother of the groom, best men were Bill Buckley, Darren Byrnes and Kieran Flannagan. Bridemaids were Mary Buckley, Stacy Larkin and Donna Crowe.  

The wedding and reception was held in Dundrum House and they must be complemented for such a wonderful meal and service. Music for the evening was provided by the great “Rebel Hearts,” personal friends of the groom.  

Health and happiness to the happy couple for many, many years.

SYMPATHY

To Thomas Carew, Lackencoombe, to his wife Mary on the recent death of Thomas’s brother Ned who died in the U.S.A.  

Sympathy to all the extended families of the Carroll’s, Carew’s and Furlongs.

SENIOR CITIZENS

The committee would sincerely like to thank those who contributed to their Christmas Party recently held in Dundrum House Hotel. To those who donated spot prizes or anything that made the day as successful as it was – Thank you.

SOCIAL & OLD-TIME DANCING

The next tea-dance will be on January 5, where the music will be provided by Sam O’Doherty.  Admission is only Tommy and Eileen Morrissey, at the Ballylooby Senior Citizens Party in Kilcoran Lodge Hotel on Sunday8 and all proceeds to the up keep of the Day-Care Centre.  

The committee would like to thank all who supported the dance through out the year and those who donated spot prizes.

MARTIN BUTLER GO GO FUND

Tickets sellers will be calling around in the coming weeks to local Public Houses selling tickets for the Martin Butler Go Go Fund.  

Tickets  will  cost  €2 or a book of three for €5. First prize €200,  second prize fourball of golf and dinner at Dundrum House Hotel, third prize B&B in any of  the Louis  Fitzgerald Hotels in  Dublin, fourth prize weekend in the Fitzwilton  Hotel Waterford, fifth prize three months leisure membership in Dundrum House Hotel.

Draw will take place on Saturday, January  19, in  Cappawhite  Resource Centre.
