LONELY LITTLE GODS ACRE
“Lonely Little Gods Acre” written by Ed O’Riordan, was launched in Hermitage House last Friday. Rose Cleary Mulcahy spoke very warmly about Shanrahan Cemetry and the history that surrounds it, and said the book was a credit to Ed and Carol. Ed gave an outline of his time researching and writing the book. Everyone was treated to beautiful music from Pat Tracey and Michael Dunlea in the bar afterwards. The book is for sale in P.J. CHRISTMAS IN CLOGHEEN
On Friday, December 21, we are hosting our final event of Christmas in Clogheen. This will start with carol singing by the children, followed by the raffle. Finish the evening by leaving Chinese Lanterns off around the town. Lanterns will be given to each child in the school and for anyone else they are available at Mulcahy’s Shop.
Congratulations to Michael (College) Sweeney, Parsons Green, Clogheen, who celebrated his 50th birthday last Saturday night with family and friends in Brendan’s Bar.

U8s had a very enjoyable day at Peake Villa on Sunday. U13s were at home to Cashel Town on Saturday and the home side come out on top 3-1. The Juniors were at home to Ballypatrick but it was the away side who secured all three points.The Golden Goal winner was Stephen Mc Grath.
