Welcome our new Garda Mick O’Mahony to Cappawhite Garda Station. We are delighted our Garda Station will remain open, and we look forward to the continuing support of Garda Eddie Nugent.

We ask all parishioners to be on the look out for strange vehicles in the area day or night and report them immediately to the Gardai. A lot of heating oil has been stolen in Cappawhite and district in the past few weeks, please be vigilant, and protect and lock up your tanks.

Cappawhite Community Alert (affiliated to Muintir na Tire) is setting up a text alert system. An application form is in place for all parishioners to sign up. Committee Members that are known to you will call to each household. A contribution from each household would be greatly appreciated to help in erecting new text alert signs. Applications Forms can also be signed up at the Multeen Tourism Office, Main Street.
