On Sunday, March 3, our final meet of the season will be at The Kennels, Rathkenny, at 11am. We thank all the farmers who allowed us to hunt through their last over the last 20 weeks.

PARISH LOTTO

There was no jackpot winner on Tuesday, February 19, when the numbers drawn were: 1, 6, 19 & 20. Five players matched 3 numbers and won €20 each. The Jackpot will be €1,900 for our next draw on Tuesday, March 5.

MASSES FOR LENT

Weekday masses: Monday in Drangan at 7.30pm. Tuesday and Thursday in Cloneen at 10am. Wednesday and Friday in Drangan at 10am.

There was no Jackpot Winner on Tuesday, February 19, just one ticket matched 3 numbers and received €100. The winning ticket was Eric & Jean Wilson. Spin Wheel contestants drawn: Paul Holohan & Jamie Moloney.

The Jackpot will be €1,900 for our next draw on Tuesday, March 5, at 9pm. All are welcome to attend the Lotto Draw in the clubrooms at Anner Park.

We remind all GAA members that the membership fee for 2013 is now due and should be paid to Treasurer Micheál Broderick or Secretary Catherine Mockler as soon as possible.

The fee is the same as the last few years at €50 for adults and €25 for members who were under 18 on 1st January 2013 and also for full time students. Only fully paid up members will be included in draws for Munster and All Ireland Championship games.

On Sunday last our minor footballers Anner Gaels defeated Moyle Rovers in their first game in the Co. minor league by 2-11 to 1-8.

Mouthguards - The GAA has made the use of mouth guards mandatory in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions for all age grades up to and including minor. We ask parents to ensure that all under 18 players have suitable mouth guards.

Club Planning Meeting - A joint meeting of St. Patrick’s Juvenile, Senior & Ladies GAA clubs will be held in Anner Park Cloneen at 8pm this Wednesday, February 27. This is the first stage in drawing up a plan for the club for the next five years and anybody with suggestions or ideas for the future of the GAA in Cloneen and Drangan is welcome.

U16 Football Championship - Monday, March 18, our u16 footballers Anner Gaels play Carrick Swans in Fethard at 4pm.

U12 Football- Sunday, March 10, our u12 footballers play Ballyporeen in Anner Park Cloneen at 2pm.

U14 Football - Saturday, March 30, our under 14 footballers play Cahir in Anner Park Cloneen at 12noon.
