New play at Brewery Lane

A new tragic comedy play called the “The Bluebell Stop” will be staged at Carrick-on-Suir’s Brewery Lane Theatre for two nights next week.

A new tragic comedy play called the “The Bluebell Stop” will be staged at Carrick-on-Suir’s Brewery Lane Theatre for two nights next week.

Theatre fans can see the play, written by Denise Quinn, at Brewery Lane next Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9. It starts at 8.15pm on both nights.

The cast includes the playwright Denise Quinn and Damien McDonnell and the production is being staged by the Waterford based Too Dog Theatre Company.

Tickets for “The Bluebell Stop” go on sale this Friday, March 1 at The Heritage Centre, Main Street, Carrick-on-Suir. Admission costs €15.

The Theatre will also host a St. Patrick’s Eve Variety Concert on Saturday, March 16 in aid of Brewery Lane Theatre Renovation Fund.
