KILLENAULE MOYGLASS LADIES SOCCER

The Senior team played a friendly against Tipperary Town in Scoil Ruain. The first half was a very close encounter with Tipp Town controling most of the half but failed to finish past Alice Meagher, the stand in goalie for the game. Killenaule hadn’t half the chances but Shauna Hayes and Patricia Holohan capatalised to have us two goals up at the break. The second half was all Killenaule/Moyglass when they played the best soccer all year and ran in seven goals; Shauna Hayes adding two more, Edel O’Dwyer scoring three, Roisin O’Regan one and Nell Trehy one from a penalty when Jane Ann was tripped in the box. They play Clonmel Celtic at 7pm in Clonmel on Saurday, looking to make amends for the Shield loss.
