ALZHEIMER’S COFFEE MORNING

A coffee morning in aid of Alzheimer’s will be held in Drangan Community Hall after 11am mass on Sunday, May 12. Your support will be appreciated.

On Tuesday of last week Drangan NS were defeated by a point in the under 13 Primary Schools Hurling Championship. The team was Ben Hennessy, Peter Wall, Darragh Hall, Conor Duggan, Eoin Ryan, Seán Ryan, Pauric O Brien. Subs were: Aideen Wilson, Leanne Murphy, Isobel Hayes, Jack Meagher and Cathal Slattery.

Well done to Cathal Mahoney, Conor Clancy and Aidan Buckley who helped South Tipperary qualify for the Munster U16 hurling semi final on last Saturday, May 4, in Ballylooby. The three lads helped South Tipperary to victories over Cork Side Seandun, Mid Clare and East Waterford. The semi finals and final were played on Monday, May 6.

Well done to goalkeeper Brendan Kearney and Jamie Broderick who have been selected on the South Tipperary Under 14 hurling panel to play the Interdivisional Peadar Cummins Tournament in Borrisoleigh on Saturday, May 25.

Last week our u12 footballers were victorious over Moyle Rovers and Carrick Swans.

This Wednesday, May 8, our u16 footballers Anner Gaels play Cahir at 7pm in Anner Park Cloneen. On Thursday, May 9, our u14 footballers play Cahir at 7pm in Cahir. On Friday, May 10, our u12 footballers play Newcastle in Newcastle. Junior Footballers play Ardfinnan this weekend in the first round of the championship.
