Halla na Feile
Social Tea Dance in Halla na Feile on Friday, July 26, with dancing from 9pm to midnight. Music is by the ever popular Declan Aungier.
Teas and sandwiches will be served and admission is €8. Looking forward to seeing and we promise you a great night’s dancing.
Social Dancing Classes on Tuesday evenings with dancing from 8.30pm to 10.45 pm. An extra half hour is added on at the end of the evening for those who like ‘Ballroom’ and all for €5.
Bingo in Halla na Feile every Saturday night. Note there is a ‘Big Bingo’ on Saturday, July 27, when the prize money will be increased to €3,000 and all for the usual price.
This is the Halla’s way of saying ‘Thank You’ to all its loyal patrons.
Larkspur Park Pitch and Putt
Last weeks competition produced some new faces amongst the prize winners. The Nett prize in Group 1 was won by Aaron Breen. Jamie O’Keefe scored well to claim the Nett in Group 2. In Group 3 Bill O’Brien in his first competitive outing this year won the Nett in this category.
The next competition will be held this Wednesday at 6.30pm.
The Gents Munster Strokeplay held last Sunday produced a magnificent display of the skills of the game with Chris Scannell and Mark Kelly from Cork winning the Senior and Junior titles and Seanie Cummins from Tipp Hills winning the Intermediate title.
Cashel King Cormacs Cul Camp starts on Monday, August 5, and runs to Friday, August 9. Registration takes place on Thursday, July 11, between 6.30pm and 8pm in Leahy Park, or you can book online http://www.gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps.ie.
