Opportunity for local artists

The OPW and Department of Justice are seeking to purchase/commission artworks from Tipperary-based artists as part of the capital development of the civic offices in Tipperary Town under the Percent for Art Scheme.

The County Council’s Arts Service is accepting submissions from artists interested in being considered for purchase/commission, on behalf of the OPW/Department of Justice.

If you are an artist based in Tipperary and are interested in submitting work you are requested to send a copy of your CV, as well as up to 10 images of work (either work that can be purchased directly or samples of work to be considered for a commission). You should also ensure that you supply a detailed list of works which include media, size, purchase price and availability, plus any additional materials (catalogues etc).

Clearly mark your submission Sally O’Leary, Arts Officer, Art Purchase, South Tipperary County Council, County Museum, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Table Quiz

A Football For All table quiz will be held at The Local Bar, Queen Street, Clonmel on this Thursday, 18th July at 9pm. A team of four players costs €20.

Football For All is a session run hosted by Clonmel Town every Saturday, with inclusion and fun its primary aims.

A Football for All summer camp will be held from Tuesday to Thursday, August 13th, 14th and 15th from 10am to 1pm daily.
