The Club’s U-12 Camogie team defeated St Mary’s in the county final of their grade in The Ragg last Saturday.

The Club thanks Helena, Mary, Tony, Colin and Ciara for coaching this team all year.

Meanwhile, the Club’s U-16s beat Mullinahone in a tournament game in Davin Park last Saturday. This team’s South Final match looks like it is going to be delayed for a few weeks.

The Minors South semi-final game against Moyle Rovers due to take place on Sunday morning was postponed late last Saturday.

Congratulations to Moyle Rovers for winning the 2013 Paddy Boland Memorial U-10 Tournament on The Green in Carrick on Saturday. They beat Carrick Swan in the final. The Swan Club thanks all who helped out at this tournament.

The Club is planning a trip to Swansea next March and details will be announced soon. The trip is open to Swan Club members only. The Club will take names shortly and will publish a list of people you can submit your name to. Anyone intending to join the Club by January 31, will be eligible for the trip.

Numbers drawn in last week’s Juvenile Lotto draw were 5, 18, 25, 26. The €5,500 jackpot prize wasn’t won. Three match three winners won €70 each and five lucky dip winners scooped €20 each.

The Swan Club extends its sympathy to the Dunphy family, Ahenny and Mullins family, Carrickbeg on their recent bereavements.

Davin GAA Club

Carrick Davins Minor hurlers were defeated by Killenaule in the South semi final last weekend.

The Clubs thank all Minor players and mentors for their efforts over the past year.

The U-16 hurlers progressed to the South final after defeating Cahir by 12 points in the semi-final. The team play Kilsheelan in the final. The Club alls on all its supporters to get behind this team and travel to the final.

Meanwhile, the U-12s have also progressed to the knock out stages of the South championship.

The Club is looking for hurling helmets. They can be donated or the Club can purchase them.

The Club sends its best wishes to senior selector Michael Whelan and former secretary Louise Ryan, who are getting married this Saturday. May they have a long and happy life together.

The Club’s lotto jackpot prize wasn’t won last week. Three players matched 3 numbers to win 70 each. Numbers drawn were 13,17,26,28.
