The 11/12 draw has just been launched. The cost of the ticket is E100, same as the last few years. There are lots of hreat prizes to be won and 50% of all tickets sold are redfunded to the club. Under 16 Football Semi Final is on Friday next in Mullinahone versus Killenaule at 6:45pm.

Under 8 - Under 10 hurling continues every Friday evening in Ballyneale at 7pm.

The club would like to express their condolence to the Daly family on the death of Mrs Bridget Daly.

GLASHA FLOWER AND GARDEN SOCIETY:

are holding a cookery demo in The Cardinal Brown Community Hall, Grangemockler, this Wednesday, May 11, at 7.30pm. Demonstrator is Susan Murphy. Admission E10. Refreshments and raffle. Proceeds to parish halls and world flower show.

IRISH LESSONS:

A small group are trying to arrange a local venue, one night a week, for informal learning of Irish by speaking amongst each other. All are welcome, the fluent, the intermediates and the ‘us that know very little gang.’

BALLYNEALE FIELD DAY

The field day takes place on Sunday, June 12. Tickets are on sale throughout the parish. Please take a few to sell from V. Power. €5 per book of three. All the usual attractions will be on offer, including the ever popular spinner, cake stall, tea stall, baby show, running races, football match, fancy dress parade and bouncy castle.

ALZHEIMERS TEA DAY:

Thanks to Margo and Johnson for their hospitality and endless pots of tea, coffee and cakes. Thank you to all the people who came to make it an enjoyable morning, last Thursday. E290 was raised and still counting!
