Thanks to Boston Scientific we have had a defibrillator donated for use in the Community Park. Thanks also to the St Michael’s School who made a substantial donation in conjunction with the Community Council to provide an elaborate enclosure for the unit. Training has been arranged for Tuesday, July 26 at 7 p.m. in the Hall, and will take two to three hours depending on attendance. We will arrange a second night if we get the support. It is important that those who use the Community Park have the necessary training to use this life saving equipment. All participants MUST be booked in beforehand. Please text your name and phone number to Joe at 086 817 6660 as soon as possible. It would also be important to get names and telephone numbers of people who are already trained to us this equipment and we can add them to an overall list of approved users.
