U14 Hurling

The lads have a good week as they secured two victories in their league campaign. We took on Sean Treacys on Monday 11th in Hannon Park and came out winners in what was a tight game. It was off to Golden on Friday where we emerged comfortable winners. Thanks to Kevin, Tom and Roddy.

U12 Hurling

Our U12s played against Cashel last Thursday in what was their most exciting game all year. Our opponents took the lead and were ahead at half time with a score of 2-2 to our 1-1. In the second half we took control and came out winners by four points. The players were Jack Cunningham, Timmy Corcoran, Timmy Clarke, Mark O Dwyer (2-0), Danny Cunningham (0-1), Connie O Halloran (1-0), Brendan O Donoghue, Ben Quinn, Niall Carew, Sean Landers (2-0), Arthur Moore, James Doherty (1-0) Ml Sean Nash and Liam Ryan. Thanks to Mick, Micheal and Roger. Their next match is Thursday at 7pm in Annacarty.

U8 &U10 Girls

Our girls attended a blitz in Arravale Rovers on Saturday last. The U8s played against The Rovers and enjoyed a good challenge where we were beaten by a point. Thanks to Georgina and Lara for looking after this group. The players were as follows Ellie Ryan, Ciara Nash, Sophie Byrnes, Emma Kiely, Michelle Doherty, Mai Heffernan, Cliona Hourigan, Lucy McCormack, Aine Carew, Leah Carew, Caitlin O’Dwyer, Mary Leahy and Brid Nash.

The U10s took on a combination of Aherlow and Arravale Rovers and played 16 aside. The girls played brillantly and came out winners with a scoreline of 5-1 to 1-2. The team was as follows: Aideen Carew, Niamh Howe, Enya O’Dwyer, Brona O’Farrell, Chloe O’Brien, Jane Greene, Sinead Quirke, Emma O’Dwyer, Emma Ryan, Mary O’Heaney, Hannah Kate Heffernan, Danielle Byrnes, Ciara Moloney, Meave Hourigan and Moya Carrie. Thanks to their coaches John Quirke and Susan Hourigan.
