VISIT OF ARCHBISHOP
Large crowd attended 11am Mass in St. Mary’s Church on Sunday, July 17, celebrated by Archbishop Liam Slattery of Burnchurch who was recently conferred as Archbishop of Pretoria South Africa by Pope Benedict XVI in St. Peter’s Basilica Rome. A true native of the parish and a very humble man and a marvellous worker on the mission fields, he always gets a special welcome home to Killenaule. We wish him a very enjoyable holiday with his family and safe journey back to his archdiocese.
