Ballingarry Juvenile GAA
It was another busy week for our Juveniles this week and O’Sullivan Park was indeed a hive of activity all week long. We are very impressed with the big numbers that keep turning up every week to u6s . Thanks to everyone who are giving up their spare time to help with this age group. New members are always welcome. Training every Sat morning at 11am for u6s and u8s. Our under 10s are training hard for their upcoming Community Games events and County blitzes. U12 Maroon team had a great win over Killenaule last Thursday in Ballingarry in their football championship. They were stronger from the start and won comfortably in the end. Well done lads. Our u14s had a very busy schedule last week travelling to Clerihan Monday evening where they defeated Clerihan in the 3rd round of their Football Championship. With 3 wins out of 3 so far things are going well for them at the moment. Keep up the good work lads. They also narrowly won the Feile semi final on Friday evening last against a very evenly matched Killenaule side which qualified them to play on Saturday in the final against St. Mary’s in Clerihan but unfortunately St. Marys proved much stronger than them and they were defeated. All U16 south fixtures were postponed last Thur so our u16’s will play Ballylooby Mon 23rd April. Well done to everyone who represented our Juveniles on the Tipp Fm show “ Down your Way”. Don’t forget to keep collecting the Lucozade Sport bottle caps and drop them into our local schools or shops in the designated buckets. Contact Miriam Walton on 086-2612200 if you require anything from the Gaa shop.
