SUIRSIDE FC

Suirside FC is in the opening stages of starting a soccer club in Ardfinnan. We are looking for more people to get involved. For too long talented players from Ardfinnan have had to go to other clubs to play. Our AGM is set for Saturday, April 13, at 6pm, in the Local Bar Ardfinnan.

ARDFINNAN GAA

Our U21 footballers are through to the County Final after a win over Borrisokane. We await the winners of the other semi final between Arravale Rovers and Loughmore. Best of luck to our three county U21 players in the Munster Football Final on Wednesday. Well done to Dylan Nugent and Oisin Ryan on making the South U14 Interprovincial panel, Michael Barlow, Daniel Cunningham and Mark Kelly on making the U15 panel and Darragh Boyle and Mike Hogan on making the U16 panel.

KNOCKLOFTY I.C.A.

The next meeting of ‘Knocklofty I.C.A.’ Guild will be held in The Community Centre in Grange on Tuesday, April

April at 8.15pm. Reflexology by Marie will resume. The main topic of the meeting will be the forthcoming Annual Outing on Saturday, June 29. Knocklofty Guild is this month celebrating its 60th Anniversary. The first President was the late Lady Donoughmore.

CAMOGIE LAUNCH

Ballybacon Grange Hurling and Camogie Club are having a Camogie Launch night on Tuesday, April 16, 6.30pm, in the Goatenbridge GAA Pitch. Maybe you have a daughter or friend interested in playing camogie and don’t want to buy all the gear with out knowing if they like it. Come and try it, we will have spare hurleys and helmets.
