DIANE HALLEY R.I.P.
There was widespread shock and deep sadness with the news of the death of Diane Halley in Prague after a short illness. Diane is the daughter of Michael and Miriam Halley, nee Gleeson, Cooldevane, twin sister to Linda and younger sister Christal, and her boyfriend Andy. Diane was in her early thirties, and had made impact on so many people all over the world, especially the Middle East as a human rights observer through her work with the European Parliament. The large number of people young and old who travelled to Clogheen from all over bore testament to the achievements of this positive and talented young lady. Diane’s remains were removed from her home to St Mary’s Church, Clogheen, and following requiem mass she was laid to rest in Shanrahan Cemetery. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace. Diane is survived by her parents, sisters, grandmother Mary Halley, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.
