NEW INN & DISTRICT VINTAGE CLUB
Held their AGM in the NICC last Tuesday, April 2. Officers elected - Chairman: Paddy Peters, Secretary: Nuala Allsey, Treasurer: John O’Connor. The chairman thanked everyone for their help throughout the year. Special thanks to Isobel Moore (former secretary) for all her hard work in the club. The club had another very successful year in raising much needed funds for charities namely the Alzheimer’s society and Cashel girl Ciara Casey. The club also made donations towards two local fundraising events. Members please note affiliations for 2013 are now due. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 9pm in the New Inn Community Centre (NICC).
NEW INN TENNIS CLUB
Officers elected at AGM - Chairperson: John O’Dwyer, Secretary: Sean Looby, Treasurer: Siobhan Hennessy. A sincere thanks to the outgoing officers for all their hard work. Membership fees are now due. Family €75; Adult €30; Juniors/Students €15 payable to Siobhan Hennessy or Vera Power. Lotto commencing on May 4 based on bonus ball on Saturday’s main lotto draw. €3 per week. Weekly prize €50. Anyone interested in joining please give names to Marie Walsh or any committee member. After schools tennis will re-commence this Wednesday, April 10.
