More than 110 children took part in the auditions for the roles of the seven dwarfs.

There will be two sets of dwarfs selected for the show.

And the 14 children chosen for the roles will be informed of their selection at the Academy this Thursday.

The Society also held auditions for all the senior parts, which will be announced next week.

Rehearsals for the pantomime have started and the cast will be working hard over the next few weeks preparing to stage the show.

Meanwhile, tickets are selling well for the return of “Best of Broadway” at the Strand Theatre on Saturday, September 24.

The Society’s fundraising table quiz in the Strand Theatre last Friday night was a great night of fun.
