Cathedral Christmas Concert
Cashel Cathedral will host the Naas Youth Orchestra for a special fundraising concert on December 16. The concert will raise funds for the Cathedral’s rood fund and also for the foundation of musical bursaries which the orchestra is setting up for talented young people.
According to Dean Philip Knowles members of the orchestra have visited the cathedral and love the acoustics there.
People may have already heard members of the orchestra play at the Harvest Thanksgiving service in St. Mary’s Church, Dundrum, recently.
The coming concert will include Christmas favourites, pieces from Messiah and other classical works.
For more information contact Dean Knowles.
