FR SHEEHY’S JUVENILE GAA
Under 12. Well done to Fr. Sheehy’s u12 footballers who recorded a 3-6 to 2-5 over Clonmel Og B last Sunday evening week and and followed this up last Friday evening by overcoming Ardfinnan B in Clogheen in round three. Conor Walsh’s goal helped Fr. Sheehy’s to a five point lead at the break. Ardfinnan fought back strongly in the second half but great work by Robbie Maher at the back and Gavin English at midfield kept the Sheehy’s ahead and late goals from super subs Shane O’Gorman and Kyle Morrissey wrapped it up on a score of Fr. Sheehy’s 3-5 to Ardfinnan’s 1-2.
Under 16. Fr. Sheehy’s u16 footballers received a walkover from Clonmel Og last week and the championship continues with a home game v Clerihan on this Thursday (12th) at 6.45pm.

FR SHEEHY’S GAA
We opened our Intermediate Hurling Championship campaign on Good Friday in Clonmel with a defeat to Ballyneale on a scoreline of 1-9 to 0-15 points. It was a disappointing start to the year where we struggled to get on top in the game at all stages apart from 10 minutes before half time. At the interval we trailed by 2 points with wind advantage to come in the second half. We however failed to capitalise on many scoreable opportunities that came our way and paid the price in the end. Our top preformers on the night were Tom Conway and Declan English. Team Declan English, Steven O’Driscoll, John Corbett, Paddy Moran, Pa Ryan, Tom Conway, James Mulcahy, Shane Ryan, Owen Myers, Brian Hyland, Sean Flynn, Robbie O’Brien, Shane Lowry, Frankie Wyse, Liam O’Connor, Sub used Cian O’Brien.
This fundraiser is still onging and scrap metal can be dropped to the pitch any Saturday.
The club extents its sympathy to the family of former player Willie Deveraux, Main St, Clogheen who died recently.
