Boston Scientific has again recognised 20 of its employees for their voluntary work in the local community.

The Boston Scientific volunteers delivered the Junior Achievement programme to over 600 children from the Presentation Primary School, Ss Peter and Paul’s NS, St. Mary’s NS, Gaelscoil Chluain Mheala, St. Oliver’s NS and CBS High School. Each programme complements the National Curriculum and features specific learning objectives, while giving the schoolchildren an insight into potential life after school.

Terri Moloney, HR Director, Boston Scientific, presented the certificates to the volunteers, reminding them that they brought invaluable innovative, interactive enterprise and life skills to the students in the schools in Clonmel.

Junior Achievement teaches young people about the world of work and specifically targets those at risk of early school leaving.
