Families gathered alongside members of South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association (SEMRA) and Boston Scientific recently for a Family 5k fun run in Powerstown Park Racecourse, Clonmel.
The event was held by Boston Scientific in support of the Mountain Rescue Association, their chosen charity for 2013.
Members of Clonmel Athletic Club were present to support this wonderful event.
A great evening was enjoyed by all.
Every runner and walker received a specially designed medallion upon completion of their run or walk.
South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association is on a major fundraising drive to facilitate the building of a three-bay vehicle storage unit that will be housed in Clonmel.
The Association extends a big thank you to all in Boston Scientific for hosting such a great evening.
South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association is an emergency 24/7/365 voluntary search and rescue team covering all the mountains of the south east of Ireland.
The organisation is funded mainly by donations and public generosity. The Association is a voluntary, non-profit organisation.
