The programme of work undertaken by the Tus (the community work placement initiative) worker has finished and has been very satisfactory.
Repairs to the Marlfield GAA Clubhouse were carried out to a high standard. Work on St. Patrick’s Chapel also achieved its targets, as the seating and floors were in need of a skilled pair of hands. The building of walls, capping and repairs to the Ha-Ha - also known as the sunken fence - are well underway.
The village community and hurling club extends a big thank you to Tommy and recommends his skills to prospective employers.
