Senior Gardai will attend the second public meeting about residents concerns over anti-social behaviour and crime in Carrick-on-Suir on Monday, November 18 (not Monday, November 11 as incorrectly stated in this week’s printed edition of The Nationalist).

The meeting, organised by the Crime Awareness Carrick-on-Suir Committee, will take place in the Carraig Hotel at 8pm.

It’s a follow up to the successful public meeting in the Nano Nagle Community Resource Centre on October 3 where residents highlighted their concerns about animal cruelty and anti-social behaviour incidents in the town. The Crime Awareness Committee was formed at that meeting.

Everyone is welcome to attend the public meeting, and those with questions or concerns will have a chance to voice them.

Representatives from local schools and clubs will be present along with Gda. Sup. John Courtney, Gda. Sgt. Ian Barrett and other guest speakers.
