Marlfield Hurling Club will run a benefit quiz night for baby Lee Mullins at Carey’s in Irishtown, Clonmel on Thursday night, January 30.
Tables of four cost €20 and there will also be generous spot prizes and a raffle. The quiz starts at 9pm.
Lee Mullins, who is just 9 months old, is the son of club hurler Ian Mullins and Sarah O’Donnell. He was recently diagnosed as having a rare eye cancer, retinablastoma.
All proceeds from the quiz night will be donated to the Lee Mullins Benefit Fund and will help towards his ongoing treatment and medical care.
The extended Mullins family have always been enthusiastic participants in many sporting fields and it’s hoped that the quiz night will receive broad support from across the community.
Thanks are extended to Michelle and Michael Carey for their kindness and assistance in facilitating this event.
