“Fantastically Funny”,”Laugh until it really hurts”, just some of the reactions to “The Tuff Yokes” a night of stand up comedy and humorous song, featuring Pat Hayes and guest artist. The show being hosted by South Tipperary Rural Arts Group will take place in St. Paul’s Community Centre, Clogheen on Friday, June 29, at 8.15pm and promises to dispel all the doom and gloom. Please note that this night of comedy is for over 18s only. Sincere sympathy is extended to the Mulcahy family Ballyporeen and late of Carrigmore, Clogheen, on the death of Tim who passed away in St Theresa’s Hospital recently. Tim worked for many years with Coillte in the Clogheen area. He is survived by his wife Mary, brothers Tom, John and Peter, sisters Bridget, Margaret and Mary and all his extended family. Following requiem mass in Ballyporeen, last Sunday, he was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
Deepest sympathies are extended to the Morrissey family, Scartana, Ballylooby, on the very sad death of Gus who passed away recently following a short illness bravely borne. Gus was just 50 years of age. He was an employee of South Tipp County Council. He is survived by his wife Majella, sons Martin and Barry, daughters Jackie and Samantha, brothers, sisters and all his extended family. May he rest in peace.
Judging of this years National Tidy Towns Competition will take place shortly, we would ask each and everyone to make a special effort to clean and tidy outside their homes and businesses and we thank you for all the painting carried out recently.

Our u12 County Final will be played Wednesday Night in Bansha at 7.30pm. Its very important that the girls have a good support for the final. Our county semi was played at home in Ballylooby and we had loads of support, which provided great encouragement to the girls!

Training- Tuesdays: u8/10’s - 6.15pm to 7pm u12/14’s - 7pm to 8pm.
We played our first game of the u14 league against Arravale Rovers in Tipp Town last Friday. It was a great display from the girls and we won on a scoreline of 1-2 to 0-0. Next match is at home against Carrick on Thursday at home. Best of luck to Ciara Hickey playing Primary Game camogie on Sunday in Paírc uí Chaoimh at half time of the Munster Senior Semi Final Tipperary-V-Cork.
