U.14 Hurling : Emly 4-12 Cashel 1-3

Well done to the following U-14 Hurling Team under the coaching of Liam Burke and Mike Cunningham who played a great game against Cashel: Danny Cunningham, Conor Phipps, Conor Burke, David O’ Brien, Paul O’ Heney, Sean McGrath, Andrew Vance, John O’ Brien, Mark Fogarty, Eric Fogarty, Aidan O’ Heney, Kevin McGrath and Anthony Hammond.

A reminder to all children from 6-13 to register for the Cul Camp through any of your Coaches which Cul Camp will run from July 16 to 20.

Best wishes go to Paul O’ Heney who will play for the Tipperary Primary School Team during the interval of the Tipperary – v – Cork game next Sunday in Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Tipperary Citizens Information Centre, St Michael Street, Tipperary is now looking for new volunteers to help with giving out information on rights and entitlements to the public. We need people who are available for three hours per week. Full training will be given. MOONLIGHT WALK

EMLY LADIES FOOTBALL

Our U12 team have already played Ballyporeen, Arravale Rovers and Galtee Rovers in the league. The final game against Ardfinnan is due to be played next week. U10 and U 12 training continues every Wed 6pm to 7pm. Registration is now due for all junior players. Best of luck to all doing exams.

CLOTHES COLLECTION

Dochas Nasamu Orphanage – in Nairobi, Kenya, which is an Irish run and Irish built orphanage, are holding a used clothing appeal of ladies, gents and childrens – clothes, shoes, household linens i.e.towels, sheets, blankets, soft toys, handbags etc. This appeal will take place on Monday, June 18, before 12 noon, Outside Emly Hall.

SET DANCING

Set dancing workshop on Tuesday, June 26, in the Golden Thatch, Emly, 7.30pm to 9pm. Ceili sets 9.30pm to 11.30pm. Admission E10. Tea served. All are welcome.
