TRACTOR RUN POSTPONED

Insurance companies have been advising Vintage Tractor Clubs throughout Ireland that there are new regulations which have implications for vintage tractor runs. These will be sorted out in the near future. Meantime, the best professional advice available to Skeheenarinky Vintage Club is to postpone their planned 2012 Tractor-Run. WEDDING BELLS

Congratulations to William Slattery of Skeheenarinky and Ellen Hanrahan on their recent marriage at St. Patrick’s Church in Ardpatrick. William is the son of Paddy and Anne Slattery. The newlyweds were married on Friday, August 17, and went to Rome on their honeymoon.

Bill Coleman of the Black Road, is presently in the care of the staff at Clonmel hospital. His many friends send him their best wishes and would like him to know they are thinking of him.

ALL IRELAND CHAMPION

Congratulations to Jason Cahill who win the All Ireland Handball 60/30 under-17 singles title in a thrilling final at Ballyporeen last Friday. Jason’s family hails from Coolagarranroe where his great-grandmother Kathleen lives.
