THE LATE PEG HOWARD

The death occurred at St Patrick’s Hospital, Fermoy, on August 24, of Peg Howard (Nee Ryan) Ballylough, Mitchelstown and formerly of Cappawhite, Co Tipperary. Peg was predeceased by her husband Tom. There was a large attendance at the removal on Sunday evening from O’Brien’s Funeral Home Mitchelstown to Ballindangan Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Monday. Interment took place to Kilgullane Cemetery. To her daughter Elma (Power), sons Jim, Ryan and Vincent, sister Theresa (Long), brother Con, daughters in law Una, Sheila, Emma, son in law Denis, grandchildren, nephews, nieces relatives friends we tender our sympathy.

THE LATE ELIZABETH FITZGIBBON

The death occurred on August 16 at St. Patrick’s Hospital Fermoy of Elizabeth (Lizzie) Fitzgibbon (Nee Gleasure), Corbally, Glanworth. Lizzie was predeceased by her husband Patrick. There was a very large and represented attendance at the removal from Ronayne’s Funeral Home, Fermoy, to Holy Cross Church Glanworth on Friday evening and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Saturday. Interment took place to St Dominic’s Cemetery Glanworth. To her daughter Mary (O’Regan), son in law Mike, grandsons Michael-Pat and David, brother Peter, sister in law Debbie, nephew John, relatives we tender our sympathy

THE LATE MARGARET COURTNEY

The death occurred on August 19 at Mallow General Hospital of Margaret Courtney, (Nee O’ Toole), Barry’s Park Glanworth and formerly of Louisburg, Mayo. Margaret was in her 91st year. A popular member of the local community she was very well known and had seen many changes in her long life. She was predeceased by her husband John. There was a large and represented attendance at the removal on Tuesday evening from Neligan’s Funeral Home Fermoy to Holy Cross Church Glanworth and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Wednesday. Interment took place to St. Dominic’s Cemetery Glanworth. To her sons Patrick, Michael, daughter Maudie, daughters in law, son in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends we tender our sympathy.

THE LATE JULIE POWER

The death occurred on August 20 of Julie Power (Nee Kilmartin), Ballylegan, Glanworth, and formerly Inverin, Galway. There was a large attendance at the removal to Holycross Church, Glanworth, on Wednesday evening and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Thursday. Interment took place to St Dominic’s Cemetery. To her daughters Marilyn (Hannon), Jacqueline, sons Michael and John, sister Maureen (O’Shea) brothers Joseph and Seamus, extended family and friends we tender our sympathy.
