Grange Bridge Club resumes on Monday, September 10, at 7.30pm in the community hall. All are welcome.

Cllr O’Ryan and Ned Moore will hold a public meeting for those concerned about saorview/saorsat in Ballymacarbry Community Centre on Friday, August 31, at 7 pm. Analogue Switch Off is taking place in less than two months so please come along.

Intermediate Hurling - We played Rockwell Rovers in the west final on Saturday, August 25. We lost out on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-10. We now progress to the county quarter-finals where we play the winners of Ballybacon-Grange or St Marys Clonmel.

SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUBS

Cloneen Sports and Social Clubs new committee are making great progress as regards a development plan and hopefully the sports will be up and running in the next few weeks.

Squash, indoor soccer and personal training are among the sports planned over the coming weeks and zumba keep fit classes and ballroom dancing for those of you less into the sporty side of keep fit.

SLIEVENAMON MUSICAL SOCIETY

The Slievenamon Musical Society will shortly start auditions and rehearsals for their upcoming show which is to be staged in November.

Our next big fundraiser will be a Halloween 70’s Party Night on October 27 - fancy dress optional with some great prizes, so get out those old costumes guys - prize for originality.

Our kiddies disco last Friday was a great success and buzzed up kiddies cant wait for the next one.
