What a Big Breakfast!

What a Big Breakfast!

Last Sunday morning’s Big Breakfast fundraiser in Burncourt Community Hall was without any doubt a huge success. From 10am onwards there wasn’t a free table in the hall such was the response to the treat of a cooked breakfast and the freshly baked breads. It was a great family and social occasion with lots of tea and chat. Burncourt Community Council would like thank all not just from Burncourt but also those from the local communities who responded so generously to the fundraiser. None of it would have been possible without the great work done by the team of volunteers both in the kitchen and in the hall. The Community Council is very appreciative of those who provided sponsorship. Thanks to Liam Finn of Araglin Egg Farm, Pat Lawton and Oakpark, Cahir, Mervin Hodgins, Mitchelstown, Clonakilty Puddings, Eleanor and Tom Sweeney Mushroom Farm and to Danny Fitzgerald, Pat O’ Brien, Jimmy Fitzgerald, Michael Fox and Patsy Mulcahy. It was indeed a marvellous community morning. All funds raised go to community council projects and ongoing maintenance expenses.
