With the month of November with us once more our thoughts turn to remembrance of our dear departed with the annual recitation of the Rosary in our local cemeteries.
Having begun with Kilpatrick Cemetery it will continue with Donohill on November 11; Annacarty on November 18; and Donohill New Cemetery on Sunday, November 25.
It is of interest to many that the Rosary will also be prayed at Ballintemple Cemetery on Sunday, November 11.
All times are at 3 pm.
Cast your mind forward to next spring and Daffodil Day about which we wish to remind you that the children attending Annacarty School are intended having some beautiful daffodils in bloom around the school grounds and are asking you now to help out by please dropping in a pack of bulbs to enable them to do this.
All packs will be greatly appreciated or if you are thinning out your own now is the daffodil planting time and the children of Annacarty School will make good use of them.
But don’t delay as time is running out. Once planted the blooms will re-emerge annually.
Well done to Busy Bees of Annacarty Childcare for working up an excellent programme for Halloween.
We’re sure many parents appreciated their efforts in arranging suitable occupation for their children. Tel: 062 60860 or 087 6193334.
