Retirees enjoy sunny Spain
The annual general meeting of Cahir Active Retirement Association will take place in the Catherine McAuley Room of Cahir Day Care Centre today Wednesday, November 7 at 2.30pm
The Association’s holiday to Spain was an outstanding success. Members enjoyed a relaxing week in the sun and are now looking forward to the next excursion.

Pioneer Association dance
The Pioneer and Total Abstinence Association’s annual dinner dance will take place at The Gold Coast, Dungarvan on Sunday, November 11.
Dinner at 2 pm and dancing until 6 pm. Tickets cost €25 and can be purchased by contacting (052) 7441929.
St Vincent de Paul appeal
The St Vincent de Paul Society has issued an urgent appeal to the people of Cahir for donations of good quality clean clothes, shoes and toys.
Please hand them in to the charity’s shop in Abbey Street, Cahir, which is open from Tuesday to Saturday. You can rest assured donations will be put to good use.
The Cahir Community Lotto jackpot prize wasn’t won in the draw on Wednesday, October 31.
Numbers drawn were 7, 18, 23 and 28. The draw was witnessed by Mary O’Donnell.
Three Match 3 winners each received €E67. They were: Alice Peters, Mortlestown; Amanda O’Connor, AIBP, Cahir and Bernie Long, Barnora Crescent, Cahir. Well done to all.
Next draw will take place today, Wednesday, November 7 at 12 noon in the Day Care Centre. The jackpot prize will be €E3,800. Tickets are available in local shops and also at the Enterprise Centre.
Cahir House Hotel will host a Wedding Fair on Sunday, November 18 from 3pm to 6pm.
