Cahir minor football team were beaten by Inane Rovers in the County Minor Football “B” Final n very difficult conditions in Holycross on Sunday.
Cahir played with the wind in the first half and led at the interval by 4 points to 1.
The team increased their lead with an early point in the second half but this proved to be their last score.
Inane Rovers reduced the lead with 2 points and then scored a goal, which proved to be the last score of the game leaving the final score Cahir 0-5, Inane Rovers 1-3.

Congratulations to the Cahir Ladies Football Club on winning the Munster Intermediate Football Championship by defeating Eire Og (Cork) in Mallow on Sunday, October 28. The Club wishes the team well in the All-Ireland semi-final on Sunday, November 18.
Meanwhile, well done to Bartosz Opala, Liam Casey, Niall McKenna, Keelan Hickey and Mikey O’Connor, who helped Tipperary win the Darrel Darcy Cup, which is a Munster U-17 Football Competition, last Tuesday night. Congratulations also to Shane Ronayne, who was a member of the management team.
