Carrick Swan U-21 hurlers must await the results of other matches to find out their fate in this year’s South Championship. They still have a chance of qualifying for the semi-final.

Two Swan U-12 hurling teams are competing in the Carrigeen Astro Turf Tournament at the moment. All the players are enjoying the games and performing well.

A number of U-13 players continue to attend weekly hurling coaching with the South Tipperary panel and are all doing well.

A juvenile disco for boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 13 will take place at the Club on Friday night from 8pm to 10pm.

Parents and those attending are reminded that the disco will finish at 10pm.

All are welcome to come along and those who attend the November disco will be admitted free to the Christmas disco. Supervisors are required to attend at 7.45pm.

All members are reminded that the annual general meeting of Carrick Swan GAA Club will take place on Friday, November 23.

Nomination papers for the election of officers and motions are available online on the Club website or from any committee member.

Numbers drawn in last week’s juvenile lotto draw were 11, 17, 25, 26. The jackpot prize of winner of E6,000 wasn’t won and seven players matched three numbers to win €30 each.

Carrick Swan Club thanks all those who continue to play the lotto and reminds those who might like to join that weekly entry costs €2 and this can be paid to any committee member or to any of the lotto promoters, who will call to collect each week.

This week’s jackpot prize is €E6,250. The public’s continued support helps the club provide for all its juvenile players and is very much appreciated.
