“Thrillogy” is an exciting new group from County Clare, consisting of three individual solo artists who will all come together with their own unique styles to perform in Burncourt Community Hall on Friday, September 14.
Internationally renowned folk singer and musician Kate Purcell “one of those voices that needs to be heard” has performed all over the world alongside well known acts like Paul Brady, Tommy Fleming, Jack L and many others.
Some of you may already be familiar with Kate as she performed locally a number of years ago.
Kate has released several albums, including “A Dream Unfolds”, “Shadows of You” and “Independent Soul.”
Accompanying Kate in Burncourt Community Hall will be Yuki Nishioki and Denise Glass.
Yuki is a lead violinist with the Galway Chamber Orchestra and plays a mix of classical and traditional airs.
Denise with a background in traditional fiddle has developed her own individual style with a mix of traditional/bluegrass with shades of jazz.
“Thrillogy” will be hosted by South Tipperary Rural Arts Group and it’s a quality show on your doorstep not to be missed. Tickets are €10 and the show will commence at 8pm. Tickets from Margaret on 0872887615, Lynn 0866086638, Fruit and Veg Shop, Clogheen, or Maureen Creed’s Shop, Burncourt.
