43 young people were confirmed in St. Michaels Church by the archbishop of Cashel and Emly Dr. Clifford on Friday, March 22. Our church looked well thanks to the two Roses. Well done also to the schools choirs conducted by Mairead O’Halloran. Great credit to the teaching staffs of the three schools with special words for Mary Meagher, Conor Horan and James Cahill. The appearance of the church outside and inside owed much to the efforts of Maureen Lanigan, Tommy O’Connor, Johnny Houlihan, Ray O’Sullivan and sacristan Maureen Hennessy. Fr. McGrath wishes to thank all and the many more who also helped out. Much credit is due also to Fr. McGrath.
