THANK YOU - COMEDY SHOW
A great night was had by all at “Santa Ponsa” Comedy show held in Cahir House Hotel last Saturday night. The whole of New Inn and Cahir came out in force to support this worthy fundraiser for the Boys School in New Inn. Thank you to David and staff at Cahir House Hotel, to Frank Twomey and Packie O’Callaghan who put on a great show and had us all in tears of laughter. Thanks to Andy Hennessy, Breda Hickey, Debbie Heinbach, Pat and Barbara O’Brien (who came up with the original idea) and all the boys school committee for their trojan work behind the scenes and also to Principal Michael Heffernan, teacher Ms Cullen and Mary in the office for their help and support. Thanks to all the parents who sold tickets, donated spot prizes for all the beautiful hampers, put up signs and supported the show on the night.

Hard luck to our U12 players who lost by three points to Golden last Sunday 24 March in Golden. Final score 4-1 to 4-4. Well done to all the players especially Christopher Lonergan who scored 3 goals, Harry Fitzgerald in midfield who scored 1-01 and Kevin Cleary in goal who had a great game.
The winners of the Rockwell Rovers heat of the Tipperary County Board Table Quiz held in Barron’s Pub, New Inn last weekend were Eileen Bell, Desmond Bell, Conor and Sandra English. They now go on to the County Final which will be held in the Dome this Holy Thursday, March 28.
