EMLY NATIONAL SCHOOL

Congratulations to all pupils who took part in the Tipperary Fleadh Ceoil in Ballina earlier this month.

The band achieved great results by placing third in the U12’s grupa ceoil, also solo participants received third place in the section of singing and concertina.

We take this opportunity to thank Alan (music teacher), all the school teachers and Sarah Croker for all their time, effort and commitment with the school music and pupils. It’s a fantastic achievement for all. Well done.

Dr Maureen Griffin, psychologist, will be attending the school June 19 to give a talk on cyber bulling, internet safety and mobile phones. It will open to all the public.

More details next week.
