The Tipperary Town Daffodil Day committee wish to thank the Tipperary Town Credit Union for a very generous donation of €1,125 towards daffodil day. Also and anonymous donation of €300. This was very much appreciated.

Fashion Show

St. Anne’s Secondary School, will hold a Fashion Show Extravaganza in Aherlow House Hotel on Thursday, October 24 with a cheese & wine reception at 7pm. Tickets available from St. Anne’s Secondary School on 062-51747, also available at Joe Whelans, Main Street and Greenes Stationary Tipperary Town.

Christmas Tree Festival

Clubs, charities, organisations, schools, individuals and businesses are invited to decorate a Christmas tree, which has to include some promotional material and also in keeping with our theme this year, ”O Christmas Tree” taken from the German Christmas

Carol, “O Tannenbaum”. We look forward to seeing Christmas trees with a difference so start creating your unique design now. The trees will be erected and decorated on Tuesday, December 10 and Wednesday, December 11.

The Christmas Tree Festival officially opens on Thursday, December 12 at 4pm.

It will be open daily from 2pm to 8pm except Christmas Day, St. Stephen’s Day and December 29 until Monday, January 6.

A full programme of events musical and poetry evenings, Community Carol Service, Childrens Christmas workshops etc. will take place during the festival.

Flower and Garden Club

The Junior Flower Club will meet on Thursday, October 24 in the Art Room of St. Anne’s 7.30-8.30pm where the young members will create an exhibit celebrating “Halloween”.
